Job Description
Geoclima is looking for an energetic Sales Engineer with strong technical, analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills to join our North American operation, the right candidate will oversee a specific territory to support and partner with manufacturing representatives, consulting engineers, and owners to promote the product, increase visibility and maximize sales.
The candidate must be able to make decisions and work independently. Applicants should have a strong engineering background with good understanding of fundamental mechanical/electrical engineering and HVAC systems.
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
· Interpret mechanical plans & specifications
· Evaluate project requirements and provide best solution
· Maintain current knowledge of competitive products and system characteristics, must be able to apply economic consideration: first cost, operating cost, owning cost.
· Prospecting and developing long-term relationships with Clients
· Promote Company & product
· Achieve annual sales plans for assigned territory
· Product selections, equipment financial analysis
· Presents the proposal and negotiates price, terms, and conditions with customer
· Utilize CRM for opportunity tracking and project follow up
· Technical support in system design & specifications to our partners, consulting engineers as required
· Support the customer after the sale and during installation to ensure complete satisfaction and to promote future business
· Consistently manages multiple projects
· Lead technical training, webinars and presentation of new & current products, specific topics to clients, consulting engineers
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
· Knowledge with the HVAC’s industry’s sales process
· Knowledge in HVAC system design an asset
· Basic knowledge on Turbocor Compressors a valuable asset
· Minimum 2 years of experience in the industry
· Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
· Ability to work independently and comfortable in taking initiatives
· Exceptional communication and client relations skills
· Well-developed presentation skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
